Alaska Airlines and Korean Air Code-Share Partnership Expansion

Alaska Airlines is expanding its code-share partnership with Korean Air to strengthen its connectivity across Asia, with the new arrangement taking effect on August 13, 2026. This strategic development integrates additional destinations originating from Seoul-Incheon International Airport into Alaska Airlines' flight network.

Expanding Asian Network Connectivity

Through this expanded agreement, Alaska Airlines will gain enhanced access to key hubs across Southeast Asia and South Korea. The newly included destinations feature major economic and travel centers such as Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Singapore.

Enhancing Travel Options via Seoul

In addition to Southeast Asian routes, the inclusion of Busan in the code-share agreement allows Alaska Airlines to broaden its footprint within South Korea. Passengers traveling through the Seoul gateway will benefit from increased travel flexibility and seamless connections.

Strengthening Airline Partnerships

This code expansion consolidates existing cooperative efforts between the two carriers, offering customers more comprehensive travel alternatives and improved itinerary options across the Asian continent.
