This major agreement provides the client with persistent, assured, and on-demand satellite tasking capabilities, transitioning directly from a successful initial pilot program. Under the terms of the multiyear agreement, the international customer gains low-latency access to high-frequency imagery supplied by BlackSky’s established Gen-2 constellation alongside its cutting-edge Gen-3 satellites. While the Gen-2 constellation, initially launched in 2021, specializes in reliable dawn-to-dusk monitoring, the Herndon, Virginia-based company began rolling out its advanced Gen-3 satellites in 2025.
