This collaboration aims to provide real decision advantage through advanced geospatial intelligence in hard-to-reach environments.

Eartheye Space and IN2 Partner to Deliver Advanced Satellite Analytics for Defense and Risk Management

In a significant development for geospatial intelligence and risk mitigation, Eartheye Space has signed a memorandum of understanding with risk-management firm IN2 on August 19. Under this new strategic agreement, IN2 will gain direct access to Eartheye Space's extensive multi-sensor satellite tasking and advanced analytics capabilities, embedding them directly into consulting projects and daily briefings prepared for government, defense, and enterprise clients globally.

Enhancing Defense and Government Decision-Making

The integration of commercial satellite data into defense and intelligence operations represents a critical shift toward real-time situational awareness. According to IN2 Managing Director Paul Tilley, combining Eartheye’s sophisticated sensing capabilities with the firm's analytical expertise in challenging environments moves clients beyond static information, providing a tangible decision advantage.

  • Access to over 30 commercial sensors on partner satellites
  • Automated artificial intelligence analytics for rapid insights
  • Customized geospatial intelligence for defense and security sectors

Whether military planners are assessing strategic infrastructure or security agencies are monitoring remote regions, this partnership aims to deliver verifiable data that holds up on the ground.

Multi-Sensor Capabilities and Artificial Intelligence

Headquartered in Singapore and Sydney, Eartheye Space offers on-demand access to a diverse array of commercial sensors deployed on partner satellites. The company utilizes automated artificial intelligence analytics to extract critical intelligence from optical, radar, hyperspectral, thermal, and maritime automated identification system (AIS) instruments, as well as weather and greenhouse gas monitoring payloads.

Eartheye Space CEO and founder Shankar Sivaprakasam emphasized that the enterprise was established to make space-derived data both accessible and scalable. By bridging the gap between raw orbital imagery and actionable intelligence, the collaboration transforms complex geospatial information into clear, strategic decisions for clients tackling demanding environments.

Applications in Defense, Security, and Crisis Response

While the initial scope of the partnership encompasses infrastructure development, environmental monitoring, and disaster response, the implications extend directly into defense and security domains. For crisis management—such as tracking natural disasters, floods, or wildfires—Eartheye’s AI-generated mapping will merge with IN2’s local expertise to provide rapid damage assessments and streamline resource allocation.

Furthermore, the capability to monitor remote and inaccessible areas provides significant utility for tracking unregulated activities, border security, and strategic resource corridors. The partnership will officially launch through a series of joint technical demonstrations aimed at civil government agencies and commercial partners across IN2's operational footprint in London, Dubai, the Middle East, Africa, India, and Europe.
