Electromagnetic transmissions are instantly detectable by sophisticated adversary signals intelligence, placing a virtual bullseye on friendly forces. As peer and near-peer adversaries rapidly enhance their electromagnetic warfare (EW) and cyber-reconnaissance capabilities, military commanders are reevaluating how forces communicate and operate under the constant threat of detection and signal jamming.

The Critical Vulnerability of Electromagnetic Emissions
